Lovely Lashes

Some people love eyeshadows, while for others it's all about the brushes. For me, it's always about mascara! I love mascara and it is what I need to feel like my makeup is complete and looks the best. I get so excited when a new mascara comes out or when I come across one I haven't tried. My favorite brands at the moment are Rimmel and Covergirl because of their never ending list of new mascaras. What I look for when I purchase mascaras are length and sometimes volume. Also, before I buy it I look for reviews or ask around. I hate clumpy mascaras, and if I happen to buy one that is too thick with one coat, I will probably never use it agian; sad but true. I was just browsing threw my Target store when I saw a Rimmel mascara that I havent tried yet. It was around $3.00 so I grabbed it right away. It is called Extra Super Lash and it is a skinny brown and black tube. The brush style reminds me slightly of Rimmel's Lash Accelerator Mascara (which I will also review soon). It is skinny, which I like because I can get into the inner corners easily. I will say it requires quite a few coats to get them thick looking, but I dont mind that at all. I really like this product and I will buy it again for sure.

Tangle Free!

When I was you younger, I really was not fond of my hair. As I have gotten older, I have grown to love it. My hair is naturally curly, thick, and sometimes unmanageable. I have tried a lot of different products on my hair; some unsuccessful while others work great.One product that I have come to love is Mane and Tail Detangler. I love all of the Mane and Tail line and this is just other product to add to the list. My hair can become very tangled and rough, but with this product that problem is easily solved. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and tangle free without a sticky feeling. I also love the smell of the product because it is very soft and pleasant. I never really used detanglers in the past because to me, the didn't work that well. I plan on continuing my use of this product because it is amazing. I love how well the spray nozzle distributes  product; from root to tip!

Perfect Palette

For me, it is sometimes difficult to find a palette that is affordable but satisfies my needs. So, when I was given Eyes Lips Face (E.L.F) 100 Eyesadow Palette, I fell in love with it. It has so many things to offer and will satisfy everyone. This palette includes a mirror and two double sided applicators. I feel that it will be enjoyed by those who love shimmer shadows as well as those that love matte shadow. The staying power of the shadows depends on which ones you use. I find that the shimmers seem to stay all day, while the mattes require a little more on the brush to make them stay. You could always wet the shadows but personally, I do not. Since there are so many colors, the combinations are endless! I go to this palette everyday whether I am going over the top or toned down. The options allow you to mix it up and have fun!

Flashy Friday!

I <3 Smokey Eyes and so whenever I wear an outfit that allows me to create one, I take full advantage! I have improved very much with my makeup application over the past year or so. I am getting better and better everyday, so I feel that this is a pretty good smokey eye for people my age. Not too dark, but still captures the smoke effect.
